TL:DR-> I’ve had this keyboard for less thank six months and then all of a sudden it decided to break on me from just me opening it up. The hinge is separated from themselves, like in the picture shown, while I was opening it up normally; the tablet/screen was not an any awkward angle for this to happen. Now the keyboard will not hold open on its own.————————————I have been looking for the perfect keyboard that allows me to use my tablet as both a computer and then flips down so I can draw on it without having to take my tablet out of its case. I also wanted my keyboard to be freestanding and not have to rely on being on a flat surface in order for it to work. This seems like the perfect solution because my tablet magnetized to the top backing and then you are able to lift it open and have it free stand on its own. This is exactly what I was looking for.UNFORTUNATELY, I started having problems right away. Every time then I went to go use my keyboard, I had to pair the devices it every time, or at least had to re-establish the Bluetooth connection. The battery at first and work as long, bad after charging it the second or third time, it started to hold a longer charge which is a huge plus for me.The biggest drawback is that I have had this keyboard for not even six months and already the parts of the top have come off of the hinge, making it so that it will not stay up on its own. You can see in the picture where the parts on the hinge had come off and it will no longer support itself. I didn’t do anything for this to happen I literally just opened up the keyboard to use it and to use my tablet, and it’s separated from itself. My tablet was not in any weird angles in order for this to happen, it was in hamburger mode and I literally opened it up and those parts separated from each other and I cannot get them back together so now my keyboard no longer functions so I wanted to because it cannot hold itself open.
