I got this keyboard and mouse specifically for a Samsung S7 because of the Bluetooth connectivity. I thought I'd be using it primarily for OfficeSuite document editing. Much to my surprise, both the mouse and keyboard is coming in very handy for most Android navigation and features.Note that my S7 is sitting on a Nanami wireless charger, providing the right viewing angle. I also set the mouse' pointer speed to fast to get the proper responsiveness. Once the mouse is paired, a Pointer Speed setting for Mouse/Trackpad is available under Language and Input. For starters, the thumb wheel allows for scrolling between home screens, Alt-Tab brings up the Recent Apps screen for wheel-scrolling through recent apps, a Right-click performs the Back-key function and the keyboard's media keys works with Google Play Music even with locked screens and the Always-On-Display. Clicking and dragging from screen edges is the same as swiping and clicking the scroll wheel is the same as pressing the Home button. For editing, the mouse makes cursor placement so much easier than using fingertips and for dragging highlighted selection endpoints. And the keyboard not only makes keying easy, but all the positioning keys (i.e. left/right/up/down arrows, PgUp/PgDn, Home, End), and the Delete and Backspace keys operate just as you expect. Yes, the Delete key deletes characters in front of the cursor! And the highlighting functionality using Ctrl, Shift and Ctrl-Shift works with the positioning keys as expected. Note that a word is highlighted by a left-click-and-hold rather than double clicking. All in all, use of the keyboard and mouse has brought unexpected and much appreciated functionality to the S7 experience. While any bluetooth keyboard-mouse combo will accomplish the same thing this Microsoft combo does the job while being pleasing to the eye and touch. In any event, a keyboard and mouse are great accessories for those looking to enhanced smartphone operability on a desktop.
